Ok this doesn't really work. I know that. It is almost impossible after things like The Meaning of Liff. I should lean latin, that would help. Anyway. Two things which need words. 1) The feeling you get after Imacing your legs. 2) The action of removing the little bits of hair that don't quite come off the first time. Any ideas? |

Gubbit
I think this is actually a regional term for something in some English speaking country. Sounds like it should be a Scottish adjective. Never mind. Gubbit: The small piece of toothpast you find on you clothes hours after cleaning your teeth. I also have a feeling that that one is in The Meaning of Liff. That that? Can I do that? Meh. "Proper non shallow people." Kirby: A derogatory term for an annoying women from Australia New Zealand or South Africa. A Kirby would typically be blonde (or dyed blonde), slightly slutty and fond of her alcohol and/or drugs.
This word originates form a short lived UK TV show called The Last Chancers which featured a character called Kirby who was as described above.
Note on usage: This word could be considered very offensive as it shows a complete ignorance of the difference between three very different counties. Bare in mind that Kirbies are often in the company of large, blonde, rugby playing men whom you may not want to upset, especially after they have had a few.
Credit to greatest_fay for bringing this word into more common use. Current Mood: sleepy |

Right.
Since I am currently the only member I suppose I should post something. Skurf: The crossover between surf and skateboard culture. Can be applyed to shops, cloths, music and language. This is an example of a word that evolved naturly and is now used by atleast 5 people that I know. I am trying to find a good word for "A person who insists that they do no need help with a job then calls you back every thirty seconds." Any ideas? I supose I could come up with an alternative theme to place names, but that is not very original. |
